About Us

Renewing a passion for craftsmanship

Working my way up from carpenter, foreman, assistant superintendent, superintendent, and now General Contractor, I’ve learned the right and the wrong ways to approach construction projects. Since 1982, I’ve been trusted with everything from small home renovations, custom residential, and multi-million dollar commercial jobs overseeing large crews of laborers and carpenters in the Greater New Orleans area.

These experiences not only helped me become an expert in the construction industry, they taught me the importance of detail and being meticulous; prioritization and being efficient with budgets; communication and team building; and going the extra mile to make sure each project is completed beyond expectations.

So many important qualities that have been lost in the industry today.

When we say that we’re committed to providing quality craftsmanship with integrity, we mean it. I hope that you’ll consider us for your next project. We’re ready to go the extra mile for you.

My Roots

I had the distinct and proud privilege to be mentored by one of the best carpenters in South Louisiana - my father-in-law Earl McGuire.   Earl grew up in Avoyelles Parish learning from his father and uncles, who were all great masters of the craft.

I didn’t have the honor of meeting his father, but I did have the pleasure of meeting his Uncle Julius Brassette. This man was incredible. He taught me tricks of the trade that aren’t textbook; and at the time, I had no idea the value of his knowledge. We are talking about a man that had several tips of fingers removed from mishaps caused by a worm-drive circular saw; but he didn’t seem to be phased by it a bit!

All of Earl’s brothers are also master carpenters, who committed their entire lives to the art. If you have been in this business long enough and worked in the Southeast Louisiana, you would’ve probably run into Leon, Russell, or Roy McGuire. They have all left lasting memories with me!

The pride that was embedded into every project that Earl and his family had a part in certainly rubbed off on me.  How could it not? It was contagious!
